Unfortunately, the Golfpass, such as it was, is no longer on offer. There are many reasons for this, not least the fact that the booking engine we used to use was in danger of falling over.
First in Fife now acts as a portal to the booking sheets for the member club. This portal brings together the tee booking sheets for the member clubs, and enables you to see up to five courses, over a number of days, in one web page.
We've had to drop the "one price" model, however - so the old 3- round and 5-round "golfpasses" are no longer available. Instead, the portal brings the best price available from each course - by time, so you can take advantage of reductions at less popular times of the day. All the courses offer availability at weekends - although times are limited, especially on Saturday mornings, and the prices offered do tend to reflect that. Bookings are made directly with the member course's tee sheet. If you need to change a booking, or add buggies, for example, you should contact the course directly.
To get started, simply go to firstinfifegolf.com and select "Book Golf Now". Then you can select the date you'd like your holiday to start, choose your courses and the dates you'd like to play on each, and then click "Search for Availability". Then you just have to select the tee-time(s) on each day to suit your plans and budget.
Please note that should a course not be showing availability or prices at present, then this means that they have either not set up their tee sheets and pricing for the new year, or that the particular day is fully booked. We have no control over the individual clubs and are unable to set their availability for them (although we do 'nag' them to get their sheets set up as soon as possible! :) )
You will need to use a credit or debit card to secure your booking - payment is not taken at the point of booking - instead you will pay at each course on the day, according to the price of the times that you booked (at the point of booking).
