The two ladies in VisitScotland’s Kirkcaldy Information Centre have been key members of the team who have made the First in Fife Golfpass the fastest-growing Golfpass in Scotland. They have handled enquiries and sales on behalf of the Golfpass group of 13 courses since the Golfpass was launched in 2004, and their friendliness and the quality of their customer service has been praised in surveys of Golfpass users every year. Now the Golfpass is going completely online – the first in Scotland to do so – and the services of Judith Grainger and Vivienne Cramb will no longer be needed. In recognition of their invaluable help over the years, the Golfpass chairman, Ewen Watt of Burntisland Golf House Club, and Mike Langstaff of Kirkcaldy Golf Club, visited Judith and Vivienne at the information centre on 3 March and presented them with tokens of the group’s appreciation.
In these difficult economic times, the First in Fife Golfpass offers golf from less than £20 a round on a wonderful variety of courses. This ‘value golf’ product has proved a winner - unlike most other golfpasses, sales grew in 2009, and 2010 sales are already well ahead of last year.
Golfers can now go to www.firstinfifegolf.com, read all about the 13 courses in the group and their hotel partners, and then – with a few clicks – buy their golfpasses and book their tee times.
So, it’s thank you to the ladies who’ve done so much to create so many satisfied customers, and thus provide a solid foundation on which the Golfpass can continue to build.
