Balbirnie Park Golf Club
Situated in Markinch near Glenrothes and set within 140 acres of superb woodland, this beautiful layout opened in 1983 and, with a par of 71 and measuring 6,200 yards from the men's tees, is a good challenge for golfers of all abilities.
The course has hosted many PGA events including the Scottish Assistants Championship and with its close proximity to St Andrews is the ideal venue for the visiting golfer.
With the natural contours being the inspiration behind the layout, the course is a fine example of the best in traditional parkland design.

At Balbirnie, we offer many services to our members/clients. One of our extra services is the Conference room. This room offers privacy for board meetings, presentations and demonstrations. It can be booked by any members by contacting the club administrator 01592 612095. It can also be booked by non members that are playing the golf course on the same day they are using the conference room.
Pro Shop
Balbirnie Park Pro Shop was built in 1998 and is regarded as one of the finest golf shops in the country. It has an extensive range of golf equipment from the leading brands, at the most competitive prices. It also boasts a 21st Century workshop which caters for all types of repairs, most of which can be done while you wait.
The Professional staff is lead by Craig Donnelly PGA Head Professional who has been with the club over 10 years and at 33 is one of Scotland's brightest young Club Professionals.
